A healthy evening snack that I found in my favorite Tarla Dalalji's website
INGREDIENTS:
Yellow moong dal (split yellow gram) - 1/2 cup
Oats - 1/2 cup
Fresh curds - 2 Tbsp
Onions, grated - 3 Tbsp
Green chillies, finely chopped - 1/2 Tsp
Chilli powder - 2 Tsp
Garam masala - 1/4 Tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 Tsp
Ginger-garlic paste - 1 Tsp
Finely chopped coriander leaves - 2 Tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for greasing and cooking - 2 Tsp

METHOD:
- Boil the moong dal in 1 cup of water till the dal is soft and cooked and all the water has evaporated.
- Drain and blend the cooked dal in a mixer to a coarse paste.
- To this paste, add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions/small balls and shape each portion into a round flat tikki.
- Lightly grease a tava with ½ tsp of oil.
- Once the pan is hot, cook each tikki on a tava using 1 tsp of oil till it is evenly cooked from both the sides.
- Serve hot with green chutney or ketchup
